You're still not making much sense.  Windows Install/Remove should work,
but is not necessary, as the new version will clear off the old.

Right now, if you try to install OpenOffice, what happens, what error
messages etc.  Until we know what's happening, we can't do much to help.

Also, as I mentioned in the previous note, please respond only to the
list, as that way others may be able to assist.
