Have a look at -> Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility <http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B290301&x=9&y=10> Please read accurately and - if you want to install OOo 2.0.x (I don't remember: why?) - then delete the Windows installer database entry of OOo 2.3.1 After rebooting run setup.exe of the unpacked OOo 2.0.x.
