I see two ways to do it, neither of which seems like a good idea. First,
create a macro that increases the Font size to what you want it when a cell
has focus. Second, unzip the base file, find the file that contains this font
information, change that file, and then rezip it.
It appears that when a cell has focus, the font size is changed to a
default value instead of remaining the same size.
There is a third choice that will take longer to get done. This may be a
bug in the program, or someone may need to request an enhancement on this
issue. Perhaps someone else would list what is required to report it as a bug
or to request this to be an enhancement.

I really thought there was already on open issue regarding this, but
searching for it just now I can't seem to find it.
