Hi

I have downloaded the latest version of Open Office, and following the weiki
pages have tried to install and run correctly the Java Access bridge -
unfortunately these weiki pages are somewhat confusing, and needless to say
I failed.

Firstly, the weiki pages give no indication as to which Access Bridge should
be installed - there are two on Sun's site. The instructions indicate that
various files need to be copied from a particular folder - the option to
grab these files during the Access bridge installation did not happen.

Secondly, the Windows installation guide appears to go half way through from
describing a Windows installation to a Linux one giving details of how it
should be in a Linux installation.

My current situation is that I have OO installed. I have the latest version
of the Java Access bridge installed. I have enabled Accessability within
Writer but get no response.

My machine is a Windows XP SP 2 Home Edition and I use ZoomText v9.1 as my
screen reader.

Note: I think that there may be a screen shot on the weiki page that gives
further information, but as I am a visually impaired user, this information
is not accessable to me.

Hope you can help

Many thanks and wishing you a Happy New Year.

Ian Pascoe
