On the page http://www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/using_md5sums.html you
mention that the mdhash tool extension is no longer valid for Mozilla
firefox.
It is because the linked tool is only for use with versions 1.0 en 1.5 beta.
For use with firefox 2.X try this one "fire encrypter" on the fire fox
add ons page: https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/3208
