Is it a bird?  Is it a plane?  No: it's Paste Special!

o  Copy the relevant row or cells.
o Go to Edit | Paste Special... (or right-click | Paste Special... or Ctrl+Shift+V). o In the Paste Special dialogue, untick "Paste all" if necessary and make sure that Numbers is not ticked (and Text?) but that Formulas and Formats are ticked.
