Well - it is almost always harder in a new environment then one you already know well - isn't it. *snide smile*...but to be honest yes, I think that it is much more difficult to work with these types relationships in Base forms then it should be, because of the constraint imposed by the datasource result sets.

However, working with form objects or dialogs in OpenOffice is really not that difficult - a bit of a learning curve on the API but if you are comfortable doing this in a language like python you should have no real problems learning this, IMO
