Have a look at the following thread (important bit copied below): http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=42456 The internal error 2755, 1601 refers to failed access to Windows Installer service. Do you have updated version of Windows Installer 3.1 (refer to Microsoft knowledge base article 893803)? If not, please download from Microsoft's site and install it first.
