B I see this question asked many times and I am puzzled why people think that OOo (OpenOffice.org) should provide spell checking facilities for any Microsoft software. OOo is available for many Operating System (eg. Linux, Mac, Solaris, Windows, etc.), so a Windows only spell checker would be worthless for other systems. The short answer to your question is, no. However, I would strongly recommend that you upgrade to a superior email client. One such program is Mozilla Thunderbird, which is also FOSS (Free Open Source Software) and can be downloaded form http://en.www.mozilla.com/en/thunderbird Thunderbird has it's own inbuilt spell checker and has the ability to use the OOo dictionaries. It can import from Outlook express, plus it is highly configurable with many extensions/plug-ins/add-ons. One extension called "Lightning" provides a calender facility and OOo is working with the developers of this extension to provide closer interaction with OOo.
