Deare Open office
I am using version 2.3 and my problem is: when I shot down Open
office, it does not shot down completely and I have to force it to
shot down. It is not an option to reopen the program, since it is just
stuck. I have not had this problem in the earlier versions (without X11).
kind regards
Louise

Louise,
I had this problem, too, until I started to treat X11 and OO.o as
separate applications.
First I launch X11 from its own, then OO.o from its icon. Probably it
should work in one step, but it doesn't with Leopard.
When shutting down, I quit OO.o first, then X11. It insists on warning
me that shutting down X11 may cause other open applications to quit.
Maybe that's X11's way of saying you should close those applications
before quitting X11. But of course, I know that now.
