For university, I am currently comparing open source and proprietary
software, I was wondering if you could assist me by detailing the
types of testing OpenOffice performs on its software. Detailing the
stages between a users code submission and it being released.

Just today I read an article about Open Source software and the
Department of Homeland Security. It reviewed bugs and how they were
handled. I didn't see OpenOffice in particular but I didn't read the
original report either.
I found that the statistics on bug repairs were quite interesting.
I don't have the link because I have deleted my history file. Sorry.
