OpenOffice.org,

May I make a suggestion for future versions....I have used open
office for a long time now and as yet I am still awaiting this
particular bug/annoyance to be rectified. If I click the right mouse
button 'TOWARDS' the bottom of the screen with the intention of
pasting an item, the right click menu is off the screen and not
veiwable hence I cant click the paste. I can use the Ctrl C
hotkey...and do...but I shouldn't have to. MS Word does correct this
issue within the limits of the screen. Surely there are two ways of
programming this error out :-

1.. Set maximum boundaries for the right click menu to within the
viewable part of the screen. 2.. The vertical location of a right
click becomes centre of the screen (may look unsightly if working at
the bottom of a page as making that centre would create a 'void' at
the bottom of the screen) Can you send me an email, just to inform me
you have taken my idea into consideration.

I just tried this and I don't have any problems. Works as expected.

If I click at the top right corner of my screen in OOo, I get a drop down on the right to the bottom of the mouse pointer. If I click at the bottom left, I get a drop up that is to the left and atop the mouse pointer.

What version of OOo are you running and on what OS?

Have you submitted a bug report?

Note, there are issues that I found with OOo 2.3.0 that were fixed in 2.3.1.
