[users] problem with OpenOffice.org Writer pics

Hello,
if I scanned a picture with 600dpi with corel X2 work on
and in the OpenOffice.org Writer adds gives it very large differences in
color to Word 2002.
The pictures are for instance 1 MB to 2 MB largely.
