As has already been said, apparently not.
Are you using Windows? If so, there may be a workaround. You can
download a trial version of Publisher from the Microsoft web
site. Even after the trial ends, this product continues to operate
as a viewer for publisher files. See:

imagine that you would be able to copy material from this viewer into
OpenOffice - perhaps Draw or Writer.
