May I suggest automatically removing attachments from the digest. If
subscribers wish to send screenshots or documents, we could provide
on an online repository so others can view these if they wish. A
single screenshot saved as a Windows bitmap file (.bmp), the default
under WinXP, was 2.3 megabytes. Had the warning been typed it would
have added just 100-200 bytes to the volume of the digest. I
understand why some may wish to attach examples of the problems they
face, but please be aware your e-mails and their attachments are
distributed to hundreds of subscribers.
