Linux, Mac, Solaris, Windows, etc.) you are using, but your email header suggests that it is some flavor of Windows. In which case you uninstall the same way as any other Windows software. Go to the Windows "Control Panel" and use the "Add and Remove Programs" option. Make sure that the "Quickstarter" (icon in the task bar tray) is closed, before you start the uninstall process.
