Did you mean "ODG" file?  If so, that is the drawing format created by
OpenOffice and StarOffice.  You'll have to install OpenOffice to access
it.  OpenOffice is an office suite, that's a free download from
www.openoffice.org, so you can install it at no cost.  Another method
would be to have your daughter export the file as a PDF, which most
computers are capable of viewing.  Don't be concerned about installing
OpenOffice, if you already have Microsoft Office on your computer.  You
can have both installed, as I do on my work computer.  One thing to be
careful of though, is which application will be the default application
for Microsoft Office files.  During the installation, you will be given
the option of making OpenOffice the default for those files.  If that is
not what you want, uncheck the file types.
