Interesting, but nothing comes up with a "Table to Text" thing.... No
matter what I try, it only comes up with "Text to Table"..... Oh well,
maybe this is something I may have to live with.

I went to a website of mine and cut some information from it. Then I
wanted to put it into an OO.o writer document.
When I pasted the cut info into the OO.o document, I find that I can't get
it to use the entire margin to margin area.... There's about two inches
of unused space on the right (not counting the margin itself). No matter
what I've done, I can't get it to reach the right margin.
When you paste such material into Writer, you bring much of the formatting
of the original material with it. If that's not what you want, read on.
How can I get this to go across the entire page from margin to margin??
You can tinker about with what you get, perhaps removing sections (Format
| Sections...) and converting tables to text (Table | Convert > | Table to
Text...). But if you want to leave the formatting behind and just keep
the textual material, there is an easier way. Instead of using normal
Paste, use Edit | Paste Special... (or right-click | Paste Special... or
Ctrl+Shift+V) and then select "Unformatted text". You can then reformat
the material as you wish.
I trust this helps.
