Well, assuming the document isn't read-only, you could paste whatever you copied to the clipboard by using CTRL-V. The document sounds like it might be read-only though. If it's on a CD or DVD, then it is definietly read only and you cannot edit it there; it has to be on your hard drive to change it. Once it's on your hard drive, find the file in Explorer, right click on it, and choose Properties. If there is a tick mark next to read-only, click there to remove the tick mark. Click OK and you should be able to paste after that.
