Great, thanks for this information. FWIW, I try to find the answers to my questions before posting, but sometimes there are problems. For example, Solveig Haugland's book has no index entry for copying styles, and the OOo Writer Guide's index entry for copying styles refers to copying the defined styles from one document to another. Interestingly, the OOo Writer Guide also makes no mention of the paintbrush at all.
In this case, the online help was apparently the best source of information. As a general rule, online help is my choice of last resort, because I don't like having to devote screen space to it. I prefer to consult books, because I can plot them on my desk, thus allowing me to use my monitor for whatever I'm working on. I'll try to remember to consult the online help as well as the books (and Google, of course) before posting additional questions.
Again, thanks for the help. Scott --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
