[users] problem during starting the program

I am using Open Office.org Vers. 2.3.1 anI am working with a MacBook  
Program Vers. MAC OSK 10.5.1 - Leopard. When I start the program a  
screen of X11 appears an thena  longer time nothing happened and then  
I get the message: Command time out - Cancel or OK. It dosen't matter  
which key I use sometime the program starts or not. I deinstalled the  
program and installed it new - always th same!
