Hello Scott,

If you are prepared to change every single occurrency you may want to
have a look at the autotext option (F3). Create a character style
which only differs from the body text in the language that you set to
[none] (font page of the dialog). Write C++ with the nwnb inserted.
Apply to this the character style. Select it and create a new entry
for the autotext. Now every time you need to write C++ you will have
to write the shorcut and press F3.

Cumbersome but at least you have to do it only once and will work on
every document.
