I've had that happen (a time or two) and discovered that I had everything
spelled correctly. Wish I could say that was the norm. I suppose there
could be a problem, but you may have a good ability for spelling.
Try deliberately misspelling some words, then run the spell-checker. See
what happens.

I am using openoffice writer version 2.0.4 and my problem is that when I
activate spell checker a box pops up that says spell checking has finished.
when I press OK the spell checker disappears and no spell checking has
occured. How can I fix this?
