It is unclear to me how this happened. I *do* know I want to get rid
of this message. But how?
Have you tried selecting Edit -> Links from the main menu?
I noticed a spurious file mentioned in contents.xml, but do not know
how to remove it.
Deleting contents.xml works [although the first time OO opens it it
complains about a corrupt file], but this seems a rather rude method.
Does anybody have an idea what might have caused this message, and,
maybe more important, how to remove it nicely?
I'm running OO 2.3.1 under SlackWare Linux 12.0.
Many thanks in advance for any useful hints.
If you're going to do that sort of thing, you're best off replacing the
contents.xml with a clean one (from a new file) OR deleting the link via
an xml editor. Give me a yell if you need a hand with that... I've been
digging round in the .xml files far too often thanks to various minor
bugs that cause me major pesky issues!
One other tip would be - if you're going to cut and paste documents,
using Paste Special (Unformatted text) might prove to be a good idea.
This should remove all formatting, including spurious links etc.
Does that help?
