Dear Open office, I've just had a problem pasting an article from a webpage into writer. Apparently there was an advert in the page (but hidden from the viewer) when I tried to paste it into writer it got stuck at the advert. I got round the problem by pasting it into WordPad and editing the formatting of the ad' out then copying and pasting it into writer.
It has also saved the WordPad document as writer. I've been very pleased with it so far. Thanks, Tony Keith
