[users] Unable to download openOffice.org

Hello I have winxp  operating system and cannot download the openoffice system. 
 I do have Microsoft works and wordpad is that why?  I would like to have 
openoffice version of excel and powerpoint though.  Can I download only that or 
I still have to download the entire programs.Javonn Carlton
