To discuss your problem in French please send your e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and/or go to the French language web site www.fr.openoffice.org Openoffice can open .xls files but not the new .xlsx files created by MS Office 2007. You do not say which Operating System you are using. Please do so in your message to the French support group. Try the following: 1. Open Calc 2. Do File>Open 3.
