Is there a version of Open Office that runs under Windows Workstation NT

I saw that someone had the same error that I did whenever they tried to
run Open Office after installation.
It was detailed in Issue 74254 and the response was that "this platform
is no longer supported" and then
"contact GW for more information". Thank you.
I understand version 1.1.5 works on NT and can handle ODF (Open Document
Format, the ISO standard for Office documents) files. You can get it at
http://download.openoffice.org/1.1.5/index.html
This volunteer support group is implemented as an e-mail list. Messages
to it are routinely read by thousands of people and are archived in many
places where they are accessible to anyone with an internet connection.
You may therefore decide in future not to include personal details such
as postal addresses and phone numbers; here be dragons!
I strongly recommend you upgrade your OS. If you don't want to pay for a
new version of Windows, what about one of the many [free] versions of
Linux. The latest version of OpenOffice runs on Linux too.
