I have OOo 2.3 on Ubuntu Gutsy and everything is working fine. However, now I need to merge some data from a database file created in Microsoft Access 2000 (data.mdb). I need to merge it into a Writer text file. The Help file isn't helping and I can't figure out how to do it. I know it is ODBC compatible, but when I select that OOo does not show the file. It appears that I need to "register" the database with OOo, but I am clueless how to do that when OOo does not even see the file.
