Hi Bob,
I can only take a wild guess given the detail on your question.
The OpenOffice.org data aware controls impose a condition for updating a
table - that the table have a primary key.
If you can list a single table but can not see the new record row then I
would guess that is the problem, at least it is a common situation.
Other wise perhaps a bit more information would help.
