Hello- I thought I was downloading an Office/wor
processing/document-creating program. I once bought Sun's StarOfficewriter
and liked it very much, but before I could really learn to use it well I
became ill and theives invaded my house, stealing all my computer
equipment. Better now, I heard there was a small, free version available
and thought this was it. I began to see it was different, but the "talk"
about collaboration and projects made me think maybe I could find others
who'd collaborate with my on my project - an invention to generate
electricity without any pollution, only to find myself in a foreign land-
programming. Where did I take a wrong turn? and IS there such a thing as a
litlle Star-like freeware I can download with word-processing and ability to
draw diagrams such as would help me write my invention up to apply for the
patent? or should I just try to do it with Microsoft Office? Thank you
for your time reading this - One's time is precious, which is why I'm
frustrated that I've lost the last 2 hours on this unfruitful detour & hope
you can show me where I made my error.
