This is going to sound elemental but I am trying to submit a column with a title. It looks like it'll work and then it then ends up with the title squeezed over to the left column. There doesn't seem to be a place to show I want the column AFTER the title.

You want multiple columns on your page in Writer but with a title above centred across the whole page, not within any column - is that right?

o First, *don't* format the page to have columns.
o Type your title and centre it on the page.
o Go to Insert | Section... .
o On the Columns tab of the Insert Section dialogue, choose the number of columns that you need - and any other options.

It's the section that is now formatted in columns, not the page. The section can extend as far in your document as you need.

I trust this helps.
