OpenOffice.org is an integrated suite of applications. So, while you
might have Impress open, any text you add to the slides is done through the
use of the Writer application. Any graphics is done through Draw. Any tables
are done through Calc. So, you need the whole thing.
OpenOffice.org has a core section which all the core componets use. Each
application in OOo is about 5 MB or less in size. So little disk space would
be saved by what you want.
