[users] Mac OS printing problem

	I'm using OpenOffice 2.3 with Mac OS 10.4.11. My printer is a Canon  
i860 connected via USB. I installed OO without issue and it runs  
fine, but I'm unable to print anything. All other apps print without  
issue. When I select Print in OO something is sent to the printer; it  
chugs along very slowly as if printing something but the page ends up  
blank.
	OO Help refers to something called Ghostscript. I checked out the  
link and was led eventually to other pages about things such as GIMP,  
Gutenprint, and CUPS. However, I'm unable to find anything that  
clearly describes how to set up my printer so I may print to it from OO.
        Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
