Hi all,

I'm in the (painful) process of coverting my invoice system from
WordPerfect to OpenOffice.

I've rewritten the header, footer and address block without prob from a
query to postgresql.

However, 2 of the fields must generate a text depending on there value.
I used Switch/Case of on wordperfect. I suspect I have to write a macro
but have no clue of what and how to do it!

Also I would need a way to prompt for a value to make the query:
Right now, my query looks like "select * from view where invoice_date =
'blah'. I'd like blah to be prompted before the merge.

Can someone help me?
FWIW, I bought 3 books on openoffice macros,Writer and calc but would like
to start before they arrive...
