Sorry about being so stupid, I'm not used to the drag and drop, but
it worked. I tried a test page but couldn't print it. When I choose
print from the file menu, the print window appears and nothing
happens when I key print. I can't tell you how much I appreciate
your attention to my amateur questions. Thanks again, Bill

Larry, thanks for your response. I downloaded OO 2.3 from the
address you offered. However, there wasn't an Install program, so
I haven't been able to install it. In the OO window I get a
little arrow with a plus sign that suggests it will move OO to
Applications, but it does nothing. Ever since I did the Archive
and Install, as Apple suggested, I've lost OO functionality ( I
had OO 2.2 previously and it's still in my Application list). Any
suggestions? Bill
Open the .dmg file. Drag the OO.o icon on top of the Applications
icon. This is the standard way of installing Mac programs.

You are correct. just tried a number of releases, and none
available.
How about this link, for an RC candidate
