Assuming you are using Windows, you need to "associate" the .pps file
type with OpenOffice. Associate it with "simpress.exe" in the Openoffice
programs folder. Then, when you doubl click on the attachment, Impress
will run and display the presentation. Note that the presentation will
open in Edit mode; OpenOffice does not "run" .pps files automatically.
If you want to do this you can install the "Auto Starter" extension at
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/ImpressRunner
