Always download from www.openoffice.org - OOo is totally free to 
download, install and use. Other places may try to charge you. OOo 
never requires any money or magic numbers before it will work. The 
download is quite large; installation does not require contacting 
other web sites (unless you choose to register)

BTW you probably mean version 2.3.0. Note the latest is 2.3.1
