Hello, Your question isn't very clear. Any files made with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) will be read, modified and saved by OpenOffice.org, unless they're in the 2007 format (docx, xlsx, ppsx). But since you come from Mac (what an idea to go back from Mac to Windows!!?...), I suppose they're the doc, xls, pps type.
