I've noticed a couple of times, but haven't been able to reproduce this.
I'm working on a multiple-sheet file, and noticed odd values appear where
they shouldn't. What seems to be happening is that values typed into a
cell on one sheet also appear on the corresponding cell in another sheet.
Deleting the erroneous value also deletes the correct value in the first
sheet. After saving the file, closing and reloading the file, the link seems to be broken and the erroneous values can then be safely deleted.

this may be called a bug or a feature.
It depends - whether you need this or not, and whether you know about it or not. When you have selected more than one sheet and enter data to a cell, the data appears on all selected sheets. You select multiple sheets by clicking their names at the bottom of the Calc window while holding down the Ctrl key. The Calc Help has some more information: Press F1 in Calc, enter the index "sheets;selecting multiple"
