Sirs, I found a French site on the Web that has a Java JRE "jre-1_5_0_03-windows-i586-p" version...It installs OK on my Windows ME, HP 7855 Pavilion PC Desktop ( old machine but reliable ).. with Explorer is Ver. 6.0.2800...
It works just fine with OO and produces the LaTex .tex file..... Thanks........
