To Whom It May Concern:

I am using version 2.3 of OpenOffice.org. My problem is that I am creating
an excel spreadsheet and I am doing a VLookup to another file. Once I have
all my data in the file, I do a copy, paste special and "Values". I then go
to Edit, Links, and break any links that appear. When I try to open the
document in OpenOffice 2.3, it always prompts and will ask if I want to
update the links. When I look at the links this is what they say:

we%20020208.xls

Why does open office keep trying to update a link when it does not exist?
How do I stop this from occurring?

Please let me know.

Thank You,

Terry
