| I have downloaded and installed openoffice, but when I try and | spellcheck a document, I am told "spellcheck is complete", but in | fact no spellcheck has been done. how do I "switch on" spellcheck? You can install dictionaries via "File -> Wizards -> Install new dictionaries..." menu option, but to obtain the latest Australian dictionary I recommend you visit this page: http://www.justlocal.com.au/clients/oooau and scroll down to the links for the OOo dictionary. When you have the dictionary installed visit this page: http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=67 for more information about configuring language options in OOo. Hope this helps. Dave - -- This is a mailing list which exists to support users of OpenOffice.org All answers are given by other users who volunteer their time.
