Hello Eddie, This is a package deal. The components of OpenOffice.org need each other to function properly. So you can't just download or install only Base. You can use Writer / HTML-Writer to work on html files (personally, I prefer to use the composer of SeaMonkey...). Mac pages of OOo start here http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/ (do some reading first, to decide whether you want the version that uses X11 windowing program, or the -still experimental- Aqua version - I guess it's better now to go for the Aqua version and keep it updated... as we're nearing the release of a stable version. Work on the X11 version is now slowed down) Downloads here: http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/index.html HTH -- Guy using dutch OOo 2.3 m221 on a iMac Intel DualCore Tiger and brazilian OOo SRC 680 m241 on an Intel MacBook Pro Leopard -- please reply only to [email protected] -- Dodoes can't afford to have headaches
