Lester,

I've just fired up my Eee to make sure that the full version of OOo is
installed and in fact it is. The problem may be that there is no
short-cut to it in the Easy Desktop mode.

Just click on the link to OOo write (in the Work section, I think it
is) and then when OOo starts up, go to File- New- Database. This should
start the Base wizard... it works fine on my Asus Eee.

The Eee forums contain many hacks and useful tips for doing things like
adding links to the desktop, modifying menus etc.Go to::
