 I can't say what the cause is, but you may wish to download the latest
 version from www.openoffice.org.  Recent Windows versions have been
 optimized for Vista, whereas 2.0 hasn't.

I did that - used a USB mouse, but until I stopped using Vista it was
still an ongoing problem.

I don't know if you saw the recent correspondence about signatures in e-mails and newsgroups. The "correct" delimiter, *before* the multi-line signature, is a line consisting only of two dashes followed by a space. Yours, like some other folk's is "wrong": you have dash space dash dash. The result of this is twofold: a) Your entire message is displayed as one long PGP signature - see the above quoted text. b) Your signature is not stripped by news readers nor shown in faint type by mail readers like Thunderbird

Please change your signature file to conform to the relevant guidelines.
