OpenOffice doesn't have a filter for importing Word Pro documents. However you can install Lotus Symphony from symphony.lotus.com to do that. Symphony is free, is open source (I think) and supports the ODF file format just as Open Office does. It also has a few more import filters for Lotus products than OpenOffice. Once you've installed it and converted your Word Pro files you can uninstall it and continue using OpenOffice. Or you may choose to keep both installed. Symphony has a somewhat different user interface and some people may find that it makes various features of the program more accessible. Either way, you get access to your Word Pro documents and have programs that can share the ODF file format was well as various other formats. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
