Using OpenOffice 2.3.1

In calc, I have created a spreadsheet in which I have many graphical elements (which I drew in calc) which exist inside cells and are anchored to those cells.

However, if I delete a row which has a some graphics in some of the cells, some of the graphics spill over into the new cell in weird and unexpected ways.

In addition, if I try to sort my spreadsheet, using sort keys that NOT cells with graphics, the graphics seem to rearrange in unpredictable ways, and do not stay strictly with the row that I sorted them with.

Is this a bug, or am I not understanding how graphics get anchored to cells properly? This is kind of time-critical, and a big problem for me, so I would appreciate any help or insight.

THanks.

I wonder if this is related to the same thing happening with NOTES.
