...and of course, why should I risk to get backscatters from mailservers
since some of those stupid users use INVALID email addresses.

I am using mutt and have added to my:

and now two third of the mailbox is red.

No, do not do this.  The right thing should be:

    Mailfollowup-To: <user_mail>, [email protected]
