I am using the open office 2.3 version. My problem is that I'm unable to activate the auto spell check and spell check tool bar. How should I go about activating this two function in order to help me to write a proper document without any spelling mistake? Kindly assist. Hope to hear from you soon.

First install the dictionary for your language(s) via "File -> Wizards -> Install new dictionaries..." menu option. When you have the dictionary installed visit this page: http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=67 for more information about configuring language options in OOo.
